CCTV for outdoor and remote ground
Country parks, reservoirs, farmland, camps, hiking trails, outdoor fences and remote work points. These sites often have no stable mains and no fixed network. The plot is large and empty after dark. Cameras still have to watch the fence, visitors, hill fire or animals — and come back when a temporary job ends. The system can be set separately for powered / unpowered, wired / LTE. You do not have to trench the whole site on day one.
Three problems these sites know well
Outdoor and remote ground has to solve power and network, a night-time fence, and hill fire, animals and the budget — all at once.

No power, no network, a large plotMains are thin or there is no plant room at all. Clockwork patrols cannot hit every gate.
Night theft and overstepFarmland, a reservoir fence and a camp store after closing are the hardest to cover. Theft or a no-go zone needs a clip you can find.
Hill fire, animals and the budgetDry-season smoke, wildlife near kit, and a one-off trenching bill. The yearly vote is often not there yet — so the system has to be rentable, movable and payable in stages.

Why this outdoor package
☀️ Designed around the power on site
Powered / unpowered, wired / LTE are specified separately — not copied from an indoor job.
🦅 Switch functions on one by one
Animals, hill fire, fence and headcount are added only where the point needs them.
📡 Temporary points come back
Move the kit when the event or the farm season ends, so it does not sit idle.
🔗 Use cameras you already have
Existing outdoor cameras can often join the cloud or a VMS.
💳 Instalments or rent for the season
12 / 24 / 36 months, or lined up with the contract.
🛠️ One team after handover
Install, tuning, maintenance and emergency repair stay with the same team.
How the work runs
Free site survey
Power, network, coverage and night-time risk
Design the mix
Solar, LTE, thermal — or recording only
Install around the weather
Avoid peak opening hours and a bad weather window
Train and go live
App, alarm flow, battery and signal check
Stay on the job
Clean lenses, check battery / solar, tweak the fence
Questions outdoor sites ask
If a country park or reservoir has cameras, how is visitor privacy handled?
Cameras sit on gates, fences and around shared facilities. They should not point into tent interiors or changing rooms. We advise audio or silent by zone, and help with the public notice.
No mains — does that always mean solar?
It depends on sun, tree cover and how many hours you need to record. Some points can rotate batteries or tap a nearby plant room. We quote those separately after the survey.
What if the LTE signal is poor?
Use a short local loop plus timed upload, or move the point and add an antenna. A site that stays weak should keep a local loop.
Will animal AI keep mistaking a branch for a bird?
We tune it on site and can add a human check. Night and heavy fog are less accurate; thermal can back it up.
What happens to the kit when a temporary event ends?
Rented points come back. Bought points can move to the next site. That is written on the quote.
Does thermal replace the fire system?
No. Video and thermal are an extra alert and a record. Statutory fire equipment still has to meet the site code on its own.
Ask about outdoor and remote ground
For solar wireless, temporary cameras, animal detection or hill-fire support, we can walk the ground at no charge. Tell us the site type, whether there is mains or a network, and the ground you need to watch.
